Introduction to Ladli Behna Awas Yojana

The objective of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahana Awas Yojana scheme started by the Madhya Pradesh state government can be seen in this context that only those families were included under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana who were living below the poverty line according to the census of the year 2011. But it has been seen that there were many families who were not included in the families living below the poverty line in the census of the year 2011, but at present they were living below the poverty line.

Keeping these facts in mind, the state government has announced the inclusion of those women who could not get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana due to not being below the poverty line under the census of the year 2011. The first phase of application was started by the state government from September 17, 2023 to October 5, 2023.

Features of Chief Minister Ladli Behna Housing Scheme

• Under this scheme, the Madhya Pradesh State Government will provide permanent houses to the women who do not have their own house or live in kutcha houses, to make them empowered and self-reliant.
• This will not only increase self-reliance of women but will also be a step towards reducing poverty and inequality in the state.

Chief Minister Ladli Behna Housing Scheme Eligibility

• Only women who are natives of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible for the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana.
• The age limit of the applicant woman should be between 21 years to 60 years.
• If the family income of the applicant woman is more than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand, then she will not be eligible to apply.
• The applicant woman has not received the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
• The applicant woman does not reside in a house which has a concrete roof and walls.
• The applicant woman or any member of her family should not hold any government job at any level.
• The cancelled applications in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-R) will be included under this scheme.
• Families deprived of the benefits of the housing scheme of the Central and State Government will also be included under this scheme.
• Families left out in the 2011 Census and Awas Plus list will also be included under this scheme.
• The mud house of the applicant woman should also not have more than two rooms.
• Four-wheeler owners will not be considered eligible under this scheme.
• No member of the family should be an income tax payee.
• Families owning more than 2.5 acres of irrigated land will not be eligible to receive benefits under this scheme.
• Families who have uncultivated agricultural land of more than 5 acres will also not be eligible to get benefits under this scheme.

How to apply for Chief Minister Ladli Behna Awas Yojana?

To apply for Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, follow the following steps-

STEP 1: To apply for Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, you will first have to fill the application form. To download the PDF of the application form, click- Ladli Behna AwasYojana Form

STEP 2: After downloading the application form, carefully read the important information asked in it like Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat, applicant’s name, address, age, caste, gender, annual income etc. and fill all the information in the blank space.

STEP 3: After filling the application form, attach all the required documents mentioned above with the application form and submit it to your nearest office/Gram Panchayat.

How to check whether money has been received after application or not?

After applying, when money comes to your bank account, you will receive a message on your mobile number registered with your bank account. If your mobile number is not registered with your bank account, you can go to your nearest bank branch and check your account whether money has come or not.
