Introduction to Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana

This scheme was launched in 2023 under the leadership of former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan towards improving the nutrition and economic condition of women in India.

Under this scheme, women of Madhya Pradesh were initially being given assistance of Rs 1000 per month, but during the Lok Sabha 2024 elections, this amount has been increased to Rs 1250 per month.

In this article, we will tell you how you can take advantage of this scheme if you are a woman and a resident of Madhya Pradesh state. Therefore, you will get complete information related to this scheme in simple words in this article.

Chief Minister Ladli Bahana Yojana Eligibility 2025

1. The beneficiary woman should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.

2. The age of the beneficiary woman should be 21 – 60 years.

Note: Married/unmarried women, widowed women, divorced women and women who have been abandoned by their husbands can avail the benefits of this scheme.

Note: When this scheme was started, the age of beneficiary women was kept between 23-60 years and unmarried women were not included in it, but later it was changed to reduce the age and unmarried women were also included.

3. Family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. 

4. No member of the family should be an income tax payer.

5. Women who are taking benefit of ₹ 1000 per month or more under the Government of India or State Government will not be able to avail the benefit of this scheme.

6. No member of the family should be a current or former MLA or MP.

7. No member of the family should be the Chairman/Vice Chairman/Director/Member of any Board/Corporation/Board/Undertaking of the Government of India or State Government.

8. No member of the family should be an elected representative in the local body.

Note: There is an exception here, women Panch and Sarpanch can apply.

9. The family should not jointly own more than 5 acres of agricultural land.

10. No member of the family should have a four wheeler vehicle (this includes tractor as well)

11. Whose family member is employed as a regular/permanent worker/contract worker in the Government Department/Undertaking/Board/Local Body of Government of India or State Government or is receiving pension after retirement. But honorary workers and employees employed through outsourcing agency will not be ineligible.

Note: In the above eligibility criteria ‘family’ means husband, wife and their dependent children.

Ineligibility: If the beneficiary woman does not fulfill all the eligibility criteria given above while applying for this scheme, then she will be considered ineligible.

• Basic address proof

Samagra ID: This is a unique ID for the identification of families residing in the state of Madhya Pradesh, which is issued by the Samagra portal of the Department of Science and Technology.

Caution: If any document is found to be fake, you will not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme.

Ladli Behna Yojana Registration

Application for this Chief Minister scheme is free, which can be easily completed by following the steps given below.

Step 1: First of all you have to go to the Panchayat or Ward Office or Camp Site from where you will get the application form to apply in Ladli Behna Yojana.

Note: If you do not have information regarding the location of the camp site, you can also get information about the camp site by visiting the official website of Ladli Behna Yojana.

• To view the camp site you must first go to the home website and from here click on the ‘Camp Details’ option.

• After this a form will open in front of you, which will be something like this-

After filling this form, by clicking on the search button you will get information about the camps located near you.

Step 2: After filling the form, your application form will be entered in the Ladli Behana Portal at the above mentioned place.

Step 3: After submitting the application form, your online application number will be recorded in the receipt and that receipt will be given to you. In this way your application will be completed.

Ladli Behna Yojana List 2025

Under this scheme, your name can be seen in ‘two ways’.

Method 1: The final list of applicants is displayed on the portal, to check it follow these steps—

step 1: First of all you go to the official website of Ladli Behna Yojana, whose direct link is Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana .

Step 2: After going to the home website, you have to click on the three dot column as shown below.

Step 2: After clicking on the three dots, many options will open in front of you, out of which you 
have to select the option of ‘Final List ‘ –

Step 3: After this a new page will open in front of you in which your mobile number will be verified through mobile number and captcha; For example you can see in the picture below-

Step 4: After this, after selecting your district, block, gram panchayat or ward and clicking on submit , you will get the beneficiary list of this scheme in which you can find your name.

Second Method: A copy of the final list of applicants can be obtained by contacting the Gram Panchayat/Board level.

Objections related to Ladli Behna Yojana

If there is any objection regarding this scheme, it can be resolved in three ways-

1. You can register your objection within 15 days of publication of the list by going to the objections option on the portal. 

2. In case of any objection, written information can be given to the Panchayat Secretary/Ward Incharge.  

3. Objections can also be lodged through ‘CM Helpline Number 181’. 

Note 1: Objections will be raised only against those women who are getting the benefit of the scheme illegally or despite being ineligible or whose name has appeared in the list of beneficiaries.

Note 2: Objections can be resolved by the Objection Redressal Committee, the form of which will be different for Gram Panchayat/Nagar Palika/Nagar Parishad and Municipal Corporation.
