Introduction to PM Yashasvi Yojana
PM Yashasvi Yojana has been started by the central government to enable such meritorious students who belong to poor and backward classes to maintain their studies in a better way.
Under the PM Yashasvi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 75,000 and Rs 1,25,000 is being provided to the students of class 9th and 11th respectively. Benefits of Pradhanmantri Yashasvi Yojana
- The benefit of PM Yashasvi Yojana will be given to the students of OBC category.
- Under the PM Yashasvi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 75,000 is given to class 9th students among the beneficiary students for two years.
- Under this, financial assistance of Rs 1,25,000 will be given to class 11 students for 2 years.
Note: In both the cases, children’s school or hostel fees are also included.
Eligibility to apply under PM Yasasvi Yojana
- Only students belonging to OBC/EBS/DNT categories can avail the benefits of PM Yashasvi Yojana.
- Students who are studying in top class schools, only those students will be considered eligible to get benefits under this scheme.
- The top class school in which the student is studying. That school must be listed on PM YASASVI YOJANA .
- The annual income of the applicant student’s family should not exceed Rs 2,50,000.

PM Yashasvi Yojana Online Apply
Step 1: To take advantage of PM Yashasvi Yojana, you must first visit the official website of NTA. Click to go – YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST

Step 2: On the home page of the official website, you have to click on the option of New Candidate Registration.
Step 3: After giving one or two permissions, the complete Yashasvi Yojana registration form will open in front of you, in which you have to read it carefully and fill in the blanks.
STEP 4: Here you will have to fill in important details like whether you are studying in class 9 or 11 and after that you will have to fill in some other details like mobile number, email id, password etc in the blank space and submit the form.
Step 5: After this your registration will be completed through OTP verification, in which you will get login ID and password.
Step 6: You have to login to the portal using your login ID and password and here you have to fill in your personal details, educational details, exam details and upload the documents; and finally make the final submission.
How to download PM Yashasvi Yojana admit card?
Your admit card will appear some time after submitting the application. To download the admit card, go to the official website of NTA and download your admit card.
Take a print out of this admit card, in this admit card you are given the date, day and time of the exam, where you go to the exam hall with some necessary documents, such as your admit card, blue or black ball pen and two photographs and a water bottle and give your exam.
PM Yashasvi Yojana Entrance Exam
To avail the benefits under PM Yashasvi Yojana, students will have to clear a Yashasvi Entrance Test (YET). This test will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) . In which multiple choice questions will be asked from various subjects. Keep in mind that in this exam, one mark will be given for each correct question, while there is no condition of negative marking in it.
